Brand History
Monkey Shoulder Smokey Monkey is a peated variation of the original Monkey Shoulder. Produced in Scotland, it is a blended malt whisky, combining three different Speyside single malts without any grain whisky. The name “Monkey” honors maltmen who experienced a temporary strain called "monkey shoulder" while turning malt by hand.
