Ardbeg 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Ardbeg Distillery on the south coast of Islay, Scotland. It is matured exclusively in first-fill and second-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, non-chill filtered with natural color, and presented at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features peat smoke, tarry ropes, creosote, sea spray, lemon-lime curd, pineapple, green apple, vanilla, smoked bacon, black pepper, menthol, bonfire ash, espresso, malted barley, brine, buttermilk, liquorice, anise, crushed black peppercorns, peat oils, salted caramel, charcoal ash, and espresso bean.
