Aberfeldy 16 Year Old Single Malt

Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Aberfeldy Distillery in Scotland, part of Dewar's "The Last Great Malts" collection. It is matured for 16 years in a combination of first-fill, re-fill, and re-char ex-bourbon casks, then finished for an additional six months in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks. The whisky is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features wildflower honey, caramel, butterscotch, peach, pear, red apples, citrus peel, soft wood spice, toffee apples, vanilla, fruitcake, raisins, orange zest, dark chocolate, cloves, cinnamon, dark roasted tea, and toasted nuts.
