Aberlour 12 Year Old Double Cask Matured

Aberlour 12 Year Old Double Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Aberlour Distillery in Charlestown of Aberlour, Scotland. It is aged fully and independently for 12 years in both First-Fill ex-Bourbon American Oak barrels and Oloroso Sherry oak butts before being married together. The whisky is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features honeyed vanilla toffee, brown sugar, floral honey, ripe red apples, autumn pears, dark cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg, malted cereal, caramel fudge, milk chocolate, sherried stone fruit, orange peel, apricot, seasoned oak, black pepper, ginger, liquorice, and almond paste.
