Original Oettinger Schwarz is a traditional bottom-fermented German dark lager brewed by Oettinger Brauerei, crafted in strict compliance with the German Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot). It is highly regarded for its balance of deep dark-roasted flavor notes and light-bodied highly refreshing drinkability. Made with pure brewing water, traditional barley malt mixed with heavily dark-roasted malts, high-quality hops extract, and clean bottom-fermenting German lager yeast strains. Contains zero artificial additives, stabilizers, or adjunct grains like corn or rice. Bottled at 4.9% ABV in 500ml size. 11.2 degrees Plato original gravity. 19 IBU providing soft gentle balance against the roasted malts. Features striking deep reddish-brown to opaque black color topped with thick dense persistent creamy tan head.
