Erdinger Dunkel Beer

An iconic authentic Bavarian dark wheat beer brewed by Erdinger Weissbrau. Created in 1989 as a 50th birthday gift for brewery owner Werner Brombach and released to market in 1990. Brewed strictly in compliance with the Bavarian Purity Law using traditional bottle refermentation (Bayerische Edelreifung). Made with spring water from 160-meter-deep wells, dark roasted wheat and barley malts, Hallertau hops, and proprietary top-fermenting yeast. Bottled at 5.3% ABV in 500ml size. Features deep mahogany dark brown hue with naturally cloudy unfiltered body and thick creamy long-lasting tan head. 14 IBU with very smooth subtle bitterness.
