Oettinger Black Beer is a classic German black lager brewed by Oettinger Brauerei, adhering strictly to the German Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot). It is bottom-fermented and stands out as a highly approachable smooth-drinking expression of the traditional Thuringian and Bavarian Schwarzbier style. Made with pure brewing water, traditional barley malt mixed with heavily dark-roasted malts, selected high-quality hops extract, and clean bottom-fermenting German lager yeast strains. Contains zero artificial additives, stabilizers, or adjuncts. Bottled at 4.9% ABV in 500ml size. 11.2 degrees Plato original gravity. 19 IBU with soft balance against roasted malts.
