Hobgoblin Ruby Beer

The flagship product of the Wychwood Brewery profile, famously designated as the UK's number one ruby beer. Traditionally classified as an English Brown Ale, Strong Bitter, or Traditional Amber Ale. Brewed with a malt bill of pale malt combined with rich crystal malt for toffee sweetness and smooth chocolate malt for deep color and roasted complexity. Hopped with traditional English Fuggles and Styrian Goldings. Fermented with house English ale top-fermenting yeast. Bottled at 5.0% ABV in 500ml size. Features deep clear ruby-brown hue with thick tan head. 20 to 32 IBU with firm roasted bitterness. 30 EBC color index.
