Brand History: Xoriguer Mahon Gin, produced by Destilerías Xoriguer, is one of the oldest gins in the Mediterranean with roots dating back to the early 1700s. It originated on the island of Menorca, part of the Balearic Islands, Spain. The brand’s history is closely linked to British naval presence in Mahón during the 18th century, when British sailors inspired local distillers to create their own gin. The current distillery was rebuilt in 1910 on the site of a destroyed original, and remains family-owned, maintaining traditional production methods.
