Brand History: Whitley Neill Gin was launched in 2005 by Johnny Neill, an eighth-generation distiller and descendant of the historic Greenall Whitley family with distilling roots dating back to 1762. After a career in finance, Johnny pursued his passion for gin, collaborating with master distillers Charles Maxwell and Rob Dorsett to develop the recipe. Production initially took place outside Birmingham, before moving in 2021 to the prestigious City of London Distillery, the first distillery in the City of London in 200 years.
