Product Description

This whisky is initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for about 10 years, then finished for 2 years in hand-selected Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux. The result is a lush, dessert-like whisky emphasizing honeyed sweetness, bright citrus, and spicy complexity.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Sweet citrus, lemon curd, honey, sultanas, and vanilla shortbread with soft oak spice and gingerbread.
Palate: Lush, creamy, and full-bodied with crème brûlée, poached pear, coconut, nutmeg, apricot, and hints of ginger and toasted almond.
Finish: Long, warming, and mellow with traces of white chocolate, baking spices, lemon zest, and candied orange peel.
