A renowned historic Portuguese spirit with a legacy dating back to 1877 when founded by Constantino de Almeida, now owned by Sogrape Vinhos. Crafted from regional wines of the Douro Valley and matured for 6 months in large high-quality oak wooden casks to attain rapid smoothness while retaining initial wine characteristics. Bottled at 36% to 40% ABV in 750ml size. Features dark yellow to deep amber hue with subtle greenish highlights.
