BACARDI Reserva Ocho

BACARDI Reserva Ocho is a premium aged rum produced by the Bacardi Corporation in Puerto Rico, originally created in 1862 and kept as a private family reserve before its commercial release in 1995. It is crafted from 100% high-grade Caribbean sugarcane molasses using a proprietary single-strain yeast culture, distilled in continuous column stills, and aged for a minimum of 8 years in charred American white oak barrels. The rum is presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features dried apricot, banana leaf, stewed stone fruits, dark chocolate, marzipan, molasses, charred oak, brown sugar, butterscotch, vanilla fudge, dark toffee, ripe peaches, ginger snaps, nutmeg spice, tobacco leaf, cinnamon, espresso coffee, and smokiness.
