Founded in 1869 by John Smith beside the Strathspey Railway at Ballindalloch, Cragganmore was designed to leverage rail transport and Speyside’s fertile setting. Now part of Diageo, it became one of the Classic Malts, known for unusually shaped stills and a reputation for complex aroma.
