Fosters is originally an Australian beer brand that has been brewed and distributed internationally under licence. The strong variant known as Fosters Gold Strong Beer is marketed in India with a higher alcohol content compared with standard lagers. The Fosters brand has historic roots going back to the late 19th century and is now part of a global portfolio.
