Brand History:
De Kuyper Peachtree was created in 1984 as the world's first peach schnapps liqueur, launching a revolutionary new category in the spirits industry. The liqueur was developed by Earl LaRoe, a flavor scientist for National Distillers (the U.S. distributor of De Kuyper at the time), who was inspired by the peach trees in his Georgia garden. Within just ten months of its launch in autumn 1984, Peachtree achieved unprecedented success with 13 million bottles sold globally. By 1985, this breakthrough product doubled De Kuyper's U.S. turnover. Today, Peachtree remains the world's best-selling peach liqueur, available in over 100 countries, and is a cornerstone of the De Kuyper Royal Distillers portfolio since the company's establishment in 1695.
