Brand Heritage
Hacienda Corralejo was founded in 1700 by Don Pedro Sánchez de Tagle, a descendant of Spanish royalty, in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico. The estate holds profound historical significance as the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, who led Mexico's independence movement. For over 325 years, Hacienda Corralejo has perfected the art of tequila production, remaining one of the few premium distilleries operating outside Jalisco's traditional tequila region, blending ancestral craftsmanship with deep Mexican cultural heritage.
