Brand Heritage
Hacienda Corralejo was established in 1700 by Don Pedro Sanchez de Tagle, a descendant of Spanish royalty, in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico. The estate became historically significant as the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a pivotal figure in Mexico's independence movement. For over 250 years, the hacienda has perfected tequila production through generational knowledge, blending time-honored craftsmanship with deep cultural roots, making it one of Mexico's most respected distilleries outside Jalisco.
