Bushmills Black Bush Blended Irish Whiskey

Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey is the highly acclaimed premium blended expression within the core portfolio of the Old Bushmills Distillery, widely celebrated for flipping the conventional Irish blend blueprint upside down by utilizing an exceptionally high proportion of rich aged single malt rather than relying heavily on light grain whiskey. Comprised of a staggering 80% Single Malt Whiskey and only 20% Batch-Distilled Grain Whiskey, made from 100% Irish malted barley entirely unpeated and triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, with the grain component column-distilled from unmalted cereals. The defining element is its heavy reliance on first-fill Spanish European oak ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, supported by select American white oak ex-bourbon barrels. Chill-filtered with natural caramel coloring (E150a). No age statement, but premium malt components are matured for up to 7 to 11 years before harvesting. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof) in 700ml size. Features deep dark russet gold color.
