Description
Glenkinchie is a classic Lowland distillery near Edinburgh, founded circa 1825 by the Rate brothers and later renamed from Milton to Glenkinchie in 1837; it eventually became part of Diageo after a series of mergers through SMD and DCL. Known as the Lowland Home of Johnnie Walker, the site produces a lighter style shaped by very large stills and a floral, aperitif character.
