AromaPungent and intensely sweet with heavy blackstrap molasses, burnt sugar, toffee, dark vanilla, and a prominent medicinal ethanol sharp edge.
PalateMedium-bodied with a sweet, syrupy mouthfeel; dominated by dark chocolate bitterness, heavy caramel, toasted coconut, stewed prunes, and an aggressive, warming spirit punch.
FinishShort-to-medium, highly warming, and dry with a sharp throat tingle, lingering burnt sugar, and woody tobacco bitterness.
Product Story & Guide
A dark rum made from column-distilled Indian molasses spirit blended with imported Caribbean rum bases. Core rum components are matured for a minimum of 3 years in oak casks before final assembly. It is standardized with E150 spirit caramel color and bottled at 42.8% ABV. The rum presents a deep, rich mahogany amber color with thick, heavy lacing.
