Unpeated single malt Scotch whisky distilled twice in short-necked copper pot stills with a “Balvenie Ball” bulge, chill-filtered, contains minimal added caramel coloring (E150a), bottled at 40% ABV in 700ml size; water sourced from Robbie Dubh springs; matured for 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, then transferred for approximately 9 months into first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts, followed by 3-4 months marrying in large oak tuns.
