Brand History
Absolut is a Swedish vodka brand originally founded in 1879. Its base spirit is produced in Åhus, Sweden, using winter wheat and well water, following a tradition of continuous distillation introduced in the 19th century. The pepper‑flavoured variant Absolut Peppar was launched in 1986, becoming the first flavoured vodka under the Absolut brand and one of the earliest commercially available flavoured vodkas globally.
