Traditional French absinthe liqueur. Alcohol content is 49% ABV (98 proof). The spirit is produced by macerating and distilling a blend of mountain herbs, roots, and spices including grand wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), mugwort (petite wormwood), aniseed, green anise, fennel, peppermint, and balm. Thujone content is compliant with modern food regulations. The appearance is brilliant clear vibrant green with faint golden reflections; when diluted with water, it undergoes the louche effect, transforming into a cloudy milky opalescent green. Bottle sizes include 100ml and 700ml. No specific maceration duration, distillation method, or individual botanical proportions are specified by the producer. Launched in 1995, this was the first legal absinthe variation released in France following the 1912 ban.
