Product Story & Guide
Grape-based vodka. Alcohol content is 40% ABV (80 proof). The name "Snap Frost" refers to the specialized harvesting window in which grapes are picked late in the year when near-frozen on the vine or exposed to sub-zero temperatures up to -10°C, a method intended to lock in sugar concentration, freshness, and natural acidity. The vodka is produced from a blend of Mauzac Blanc (Gaillac region, providing crisp green-apple and citrus properties) and Ugni Blanc (Cognac region, providing body and structural smoothness). The juice undergoes cold maceration and cold fermentation followed by five-stage distillation: four distillations in continuous stainless steel column stills (Mauzac Blanc and Ugni Blanc distilled separately), blending of the two grape spirits (approximately 95% Ugni Blanc, 5% Mauzac Blanc), and a final fifth distillation in a custom-built copper pot still. The appearance is completely crystal clear. No specific column specifications, copper still size, or individual distillation run details are provided by the producer. The brand was founded in 2003.
