Glenmorangie Signet

Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky created by Dr. Bill Lumsden. It is made using "chocolate malt" barley, which is roasted to impart espresso and dark chocolate intensity. The spirit is matured in a combination of first-fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks, and virgin charred oak, with some component whiskies aged between 35 and 40 years old. The whisky is presented at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features coffee, bitter mocha, dark chocolate, butterscotch, treacly plum pudding, cherry, candied orange peel, mint, cinnamon, ginger, toasted hazelnuts, cappuccino, amaretto, and chocolate-coated raisins.
