Monkey Shoulder Smokey Monkey is a blended malt Scotch whisky created by William Grant & Sons. It maintains the Speyside malt foundation of the classic Monkey Shoulder, composed of two Speyside single malts, but introduces a portion of heavily peated Highland single malt to the blend . The whisky is aged in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and presented at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle . The flavor profile features zesty orange peel, sweet vanilla pastry, honey, campfire smoke, dark chocolate, melted butter, creamy butterscotch, black pepper, cinnamon, firewood ash, and spicy vanilla pastries .
