Woodburns Contemporary Indian Whisky

Woodburns is a blended Indian malt whisky produced by Fullarton Distilleries in Candepar, Goa, crafted entirely from peated and unpeated Indian malted barley with no foreign malts or neutral molasses spirits. It is aged in handcrafted virgin oak barrels heavily charred by local Indian coopers to accelerate maturation in Goa's tropical climate. The whisky is presented at 42.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The flavor profile features woodsmoke, burnt toast, oak resin, dried herbs, sesame oil, tar, iodine, honeyed barley, nutty accents, peat smoke, dark cocoa, and toasted barley warmth.
