The Singleton of Glen Ord 18 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 18 years using a multi-cask program blending heavily charred ex-American oak bourbon barrels and seasoned European oak Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The distillery incorporates a 75-hour extended fermentation alongside slow distillation runs inside copper pot stills, promoting high copper reflux and generating a waxy, heavy mouthfeel. The distillery maintains active malting drums on-site. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features polished leather, sandalwood, perfume, dried orange peel, nectarines, flaked almonds, milk chocolate, caramel, honeycomb, pineapple juice, stewed plums, oranges, menthol, marzipan, dark cocoa, ginger biscuit, cinnamon, nougat, and dry oak.
