The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 15 years using a dual-wood maturation in a combination of ex-American oak bourbon casks and seasoned European oak Spanish sherry casks, purposefully blended to emphasize a heavier sherry influence. The distillery utilizes a signature 75-hour slow fermentation process and slow copper pot still distillation to maximize ester production for a naturally sweet and dense spirit. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features summer flowers, melon, orchard fruits, honeycomb, vanilla pods, ginger biscuit, polished wood, toffee apples, citrus zest, malt, cinnamon, dry oak, chestnuts, dark chocolate, spiced oak, dark cocoa, and blackcurrants.
