The Glenlivet 15 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 15 years using dual-wood selective maturation. The spirit is aged primarily in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks before a select portion is transferred into pristine, low-density French Limousin oak casks from France's Dordogne region. The malted barley and soft spring water are sourced from Josie's Well, and distillation takes place in tall copper pot stills to maintain a crisp, delicate spirit. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features sweet toffee, dark chocolate ginger spiced biscuits, baked banana, honey, perfumed oak, ripe mango, apricots, peaches, cinnamon spice, white pepper, cedar wood, toasted almonds, and baking spices.
