Talisker 10 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Talisker 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 10 years exclusively in heavily charred refill American oak ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is peated to approximately 18 to 22 ppm using traditional Scottish mainland peat. Distillation uses a unique configuration of copper pot stills with U-shaped return pipes on the wash stills and exterior wooden worm tubs on the spirit stills, retaining heavy oily texture while preserving pepper compounds. Water is drawn from the 21 underground springs of Cnoc nan Speireag. Bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features sea salt, oyster shells, peat smoke, malted barley, orchard fruits, black pepper, dried fruits, volcanic smoke, toasted oak, and sea spray.
