Laphroaig 10 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Laphroaig 10 Years Old is a heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 10 years exclusively in seasoned first-fill ex-bourbon American oak barrels sourced from the Maker's Mark distillery in Kentucky. The whisky is peated to approximately 40 to 45 ppm using hand-cut peat from estate-owned bogs containing decomposed heather, moss, and seaweed. The distillery maintains its own traditional floor maltings on-site, supplying roughly 20% of its required barley. Water is sourced from the peat-saturated Kilbride Dam. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features tarry peat smoke, seaweed, medicinal iodine, sea salt, cardamom, wool, vanilla, black pepper, honey, vanilla fudge, malted barley, charcoal, salted licorice, medicinal herbs, tarry espresso, campfire ash, and herbal sweetness.
