Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 12 years using dual-cask sequential maturation. The spirit spends its first 10 years in traditional American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred for a 2-year finishing period into a combination of Spanish ex-Oloroso and sweet ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Distillation takes place in signature pot stills standing 16 feet 10 inches tall, maximizing spirit-to-copper exposure. Water is drawn from the Tarlogie Springs. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features cinnamon, chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb, caramel toffee, dried plums, apricots, vanillic oak, citrus zest, sultanas, orange, butterscotch, roasted walnuts, dark chocolate, nutmeg, spiced orange, hazelnut praline, and bitter dark chocolate.
