Glenfiddich 15 Years Old Our Solera Fifteen Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenfiddich 15 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for a minimum of 15 years using three distinct cask types before marrying: American ex-bourbon oak barrels, Portuguese ex-sherry oak casks, and virgin American oak casks. The whiskies are poured into a custom-built Solera Vat made of Oregon pine, which has remained at least half full since its inception in 1998, ensuring every bottle contains a continuous lineage of older whiskies. From the Solera Vat, the liquid is moved into smaller Portuguese oak Solera Marrying Tuns for an additional 3 to 4 months before bottling. Water is sourced from the Robbie Dhu spring. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features honey, vanilla fudge, brown sugar, raisins, figs, marzipan, holiday spice, sherry wood, cinnamon, orange zest, ginger, butterscotch, and spiced oak.
