Old Monk Gold Reserve is a vatted dark rum produced from pure high-grade sugarcane molasses, composed of individual rum components aged for a minimum of 12 years in select oak barrels. The blend represents a smoother, longer-aged, and more refined expression compared to the core 7-year-old flagship Old Monk XXX. Bottled at 42.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features ripe banana, dark caramel, molasses, vanilla bean, toasted oak, dark chocolate, rich cocoa, Christmas fruitcake, buttery toffee, and soft baking spices.
