The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky combining premium grain whiskies with high-quality single malts, specifically anchored by The Macallan and Highland Park. Maturation takes place predominantly in a combination of sherry-seasoned oak casks and bourbon casks to balance sweet and spicy notes. The components are married in oak vats for up to six months prior to bottling to ensure a seamless, harmonious flavor profile. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features candied fruits, buttery shortbread, citrus, dried fruits, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger spice, and oak.
