Teacher's Origin Blended Scotch Whisky

Teacher's Origin is a blended Scotch whisky composed of 65% single malts and 35% grain whiskies, reversing the industry standard where grain spirits typically dominate the blend. The blend draws from over 30 single malts, heavily anchored by uniquely peated Highland malt from Ardmore Distillery. After initial aging in traditional bourbon barrels, it is double-matured in smaller 19th-century-style quarter casks, with the smaller barrel size increasing wood-to-spirit contact by roughly 30% to intensify oak and vanilla absorption. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features maltiness, pear, apple, earthy peat smoke, dark honey, toffee, vanilla, cereal, and oak woodspice.
