Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky crafted exclusively from single malts with zero grain whisky added, originally combining malts from Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, and Kininvie. Modern batches incorporate a changing selection of Speyside single malts to maintain flavor consistency. The whisky is matured exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak barrels, maximizing extraction of smooth vanilla, honey, and oak sweetness. Small batches of individual casks are blended together in large marrying tuns for roughly 3 to 6 months. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features zesty orange peel, vanilla, honey, cloves, malt, brown sugar, baked apples, orange marmalade, nutmeg, cinnamon, oak, menthol, and sweet cream.
