Johnnie Walker Double Black Blended Scotch Whisky

Johnnie Walker Double Black is a blended Scotch whisky engineered with a higher proportion of heavily peated Islay and West Coast single malts, including Caol Ila and Talisker. The blend sacrifices the 12-year age claim of the original Black Label to allow selection of younger, more vibrant peated malts alongside older whiskies. Maturation takes place in deeply charred oak casks, coaxing out heavy tannins, vanilla char, and richer spice tones. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Flavor profile features smoke, dried cloves, charred wood, citrus, apples, pears, raisins, peat, black pepper, and dry oak.
