Product Description

Zaya Gran Reserva is distilled from molasses and features a blend of up to five rums, each aged separately for a minimum of 12 years (with some sources citing up to 16 years in the blend). These rums are matured in medium-toasted oak barrels, imparting depth, sweetness, and gentle smokiness to the final product. The resulting dark, mahogany-colored spirit is unctuous, layered, and slightly sweet with a light, smoky undertone.​

Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Vanilla, caramel, mocha, coconut, toasted oak, and citrus fruit, with hints of pipe tobacco and spice.

• Palate: Smooth and sweet, with strong vanilla and caramel, dark chocolate, espresso, nutmeg, cinnamon, and maple syrup emerging alongside dried fruit and light spice.

• Finish: Lingering, with vanilla, soft smoke, baking spice, and a satisfying earthy sweetness.​
