Woodburns Contemporary Indian Whisky is a blended Indian malt whisky made using both peated and unpeated Indian malts. Bottled at 42.8% ABV, it features a silky, full-bodied texture with a balanced smoky and sweet profile. The whisky has a rich amber color, enhanced by the aging process in charred oak barrels, which imparts deep, smoky flavors.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Warm and aromatic with layers of sesame oil, oak resin, dried green herbs, and a touch of woodsmoke.
Palate: A smooth and full-bodied mouthfeel with notes of dark chocolate, roasted grain, and intense wood smoke, balanced by a subtle honeyed sweetness.

Woodburns Highball
Recipe: Pour 60ml Woodburns over plenty of ice in a tall glass. Top with chilled club soda or premium ginger ale.

Recipe: Muddle 1 brown sugar cube with 3 dashes of Angostura bitters. Add 60ml Woodburns and stir over a large ice sphere.

Recipe: Combine 45ml Woodburns, 20ml turmeric and lemon cordial, 15ml fresh ginger juice, and 2 dashes of grapefruit bitters.
Method: Shake with ice and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with an edible marigold flower.
