Woodburns Contemporary Indian Whisky is a blended Indian malt whisky, containing no neutral grain spirit or foreign Scotch. The whisky is made from a blend of peated and unpeated Indian malts, offering a unique balance of smokiness and smoothness. It is aged for a minimum of 3 years in charred oak barrels, which imparts a rich, bold flavor profile with hints of woodsmoke and honeyed barley.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Warm and aromatic with layers of sesame oil, oak resin, dried green herbs, and a clear touch of woodsmoke, creating a rich and inviting aroma.

• Palate: Silky mouthfeel with a “round oiliness,” featuring dominant notes of woodsmoke, dry oak tannins, and honeyed barley, making it smooth yet full of character.

• Finish: Long and balanced, with a subtle sweet finish and lingering wisps of peat, leaving a warm aftertaste.
