It is crafted from a blend of malt and grain whiskies, with the heart of the blend historically consisting of smoky Highland malts such as Glen Garioch. Aged for a minimum of 3 years in American oak barrels, Vat 69 is produced using both continuous and batch distillation methods to achieve a well-rounded and smooth profile.
