The whisky is a vatting matured in both ex‑bourbon and sherry casks, designed to balance classic Islay smoke with fresh fruit complexity.
It uses malt peated to about 50 ppm and is commonly bottled at 46% ABV, delivering robust flavor without heaviness.
Tasting notes

Nose: Lemon zest and vanilla over a distinct coastal influence, opening to floral intensity, peaches, pears, and warm spice.

Kilchoman is an independent farm distillery on Islay that grows a portion of its own barley and malts on site, reviving traditional field‑to‑glass whisky‑making on the island.
