Original price was: ₹2,400.00.Current price is: ₹1,950.00.

Product Description:
Frangelico is a pale golden hazelnut-flavored liqueur crafted from the protected Tonda Gentile hazelnuts grown exclusively in the Piedmont region of Italy. The production process begins with harvesting, toasting, and crushing the hazelnuts, which are then macerated and infused in alcohol and water. This infusion is distilled to create a concentrated hazelnut distillate. The final liqueur is created by blending this distillate with natural and artificial flavorings including cocoa beans, coffee, vanilla pods, rhubarb root, sweet orange flowers, and berries, combined with pure alcohol, water, and sugar. The mixture is aged in vats for 6-8 weeks to allow flavors to marry and mellow before bottling.

Description

Brand History:
Frangelico’s origins are rooted in legend and history intertwined. According to brand lore, the liqueur is inspired by recipes dating back over 300 years to Christian monks living in the hills of the Piedmont region of northern Italy. These monks possessed exceptional distilling skills and used the region’s famous Tonda Gentile hazelnuts along with other precious local ingredients to create liqueurs. The name “Frangelico” derives from “Fra’ Angelico” (Father Angelico), a hermit monk believed to have inhabited the Piedmont hills during the 18th century.
