Double Double 21 undergoes separate marrying of malts and grains, a second marrying after blending, then a final finish, most commonly in Oloroso sherry casks, to achieve a notably silky texture. Select editions and markets also release variants finished in other woods such as French or Mizunara oak at similar age and strength around 46% ABV.

Tasting notes

• Nose: Raisins and cinnamon with buttery vanilla, dried pineapple and peach; sherried red‑fruit tones and baking spice.

• Palate: Honeyed malt with Christmas‑cake fruit, orange peel, clove and gentle oak; smooth, integrated sweetness with peppery warmth in some editions.

• Finish: Silky and balanced with woody spice, citrus accents and lingering sherry richness.
