Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve undergoes a distinctive triple maturation process where both grain and malt whiskies are aged separately in American Bourbon barrels, then blended, and finally matured a third time in Oloroso Sherry Butts. This complex aging process gives the whisky its characteristic smoothness and rich flavor. It is composed of single malts from renowned distilleries such as Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, and Dalwhinnie, and is bottled at 42.8% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: A rich balance of malt and wood, with notes of vanilla, honey, caramel, and citrus, accented by a hint of cracked pepper.
