Product Description
This herbal liqueur has 23% ABV and is crafted from a secret blend of 40 botanicals sourced from four continents, including orange peel, coriander seeds, marjoram, oregano, wormwood, cinnamon, and cloves. The botanicals undergo boiling, maceration in alcohol for 20–30 days, and distillation to produce 12 “mother essences.” These are blended into six aromatic notes, with a final “7th note” called Il Premio (The Prize)—a micro-distillate so potent that only one liter is used for every 15,000 liters of liqueur.
The flavor profile begins sweet with orange peel, vanilla, and rose petals, transitioning to a mildly bitter finish with hints of cherry and earthiness.

Brand History
Amaro Montenegro is a classic Italian herbal liqueur (amaro) created in 1885 by Stanislao Cobianchi in Bologna, Italy. Renamed in 1896 to honor Princess Elena of Montenegro upon her marriage to Prince Victor Emmanuel III, it is known for its approachable, well-balanced bittersweet profile, making it a “gateway amaro” compared to more intensely bitter options like Fernet-Branca.
