100 Pipers 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky with an ABV of 42.8%, specially crafted with a curated blend of 25 to 30 different malt whiskies, primarily from the Speyside region, and high-quality grain whiskies. The whisky is aged for a minimum of 12 years, with maturation in a combination of first-fill American Oak (Bourbon) casks and European Oak (Sherry) casks, which enhances its smooth and complex character. The heart of the blend features malts from the Allt-a-Bhainne distillery.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Deep golden amber, showcasing its long maturation.

• Nose: Rich and sweet with heavy notes of honey, vanilla, and caramel, balanced by dried fruit aromas (raisins and prunes) and a faint hint of peat smoke.

• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavors of honeyed oak, floral notes, and vanilla are complemented by a gentle spiciness of pepper and cinnamon.
